ISSUE
There was a new road needed to be build in Indonesia. In the process of road development, Geogrid biaxial products is the ideal kind of material needed to stabilize the subgrade and prevent other materials from moving. And considering the environmental protection and increasing the service life of the road, we chose a new material and a product with a long service life to use on the subgrade, so the biaxial geogrid is a necessary product in the process of road construction.
SOLUTION
There are many types of geogrid products, we chose PP biaxial geogrid 120kN-120kN to use in the subgrade of ordinary road. PP geogrid biaxial product provide a simple, cost effective solution for soil reinforcement.
PP biaxial geogrid is manufactures using precise blends of polypropylene, copolymers and additives to resist high, short-term dynamic loads or moderate loads over longer time periods, and it also provides structural reinforcement of roads and parking areas through excellent stiffness and interlock capabilities.Biaxial Geogrid interlock with aggregate particles creating an enhanced composite material with higher performance characteristics. The profile shape and thickness of the structural ribs contribute to superior confinement and stabilization of the reinforced layer.
And the construction is also very simple, without any connection and directly laid on the base, covered with gravel, sand and so on.
