Issue
There are also many road construction projects in the Middle East. The Saudi customer saw on the website that we sell geotextile, geomembrane and geogrids, and he wanted to find a product suitable for road construction and subgrade reinforcement. Before that, the customer had not done any similar road projects and had no experience. Seeing that we had 13 years of export experience, the customer sent us an inquiry to determine which products should be used in the road construction project and let us provide professional solutions.
Solution
First of all, we learned from our customers that the project construction needed to be used on urban roads. Roads needed to be reinforced and durable. Since the customer had no road repair experience before, we first explained to the customer that the products that must be used for road repair are grilles, but there are also many kinds of grilles. We told the customer about the advantages and uses of each kind of grille. The customer first had a comprehensive understanding of our products. Secondly, we have recommended two-way pet geogrid mesh with high cost performance ratio according to the needs of customers. Biaxial polypropylene geogrids are used in base reinforcement applications such as roads, storage yards and parking lots or any other load-bearing structure. Biaxial pet geogrid mesh provided excellent tensile strength in both principle directions. The reinforcing action of BX geogrids lies mainly in increasing the shearing resistance within a soil by process of interlocking between the square ribs and the soil. The load dispersal effect from the interlocking mechanism is more effective and can reduce sub-base thickness and construction cost. BX geogrids can be used with any fill material.
