SOLUTION

We suggested to use warp knitted polyester geogrid mesh 30/30kN. The warp knitted polyester geogrid is made of high-strength polyester industrial filament. After warp knitting, it is directionally woven into grid grey cloth and coated with PVC. The production of polyester geogrid is different from the traditional plastic geogrid. Its technological process is: raw materials → warping → weaving → finishing → inspection, packaging and warehousing. After the polyester grid is coated with PVC, the fabric becomes stiffer, the tensile strength and node strength are improved, and the tensile properties have also changed significantly. Polyester geogrid is divided into unidirectional polyester geogrid and bidirectional polyester geogrid. The bidirectional polyester geogrid is a polyester geogrid with the same breaking strength in longitude and latitude. Purpose of Warp Knitting Polyester Geogrid

Construction method of warp knitted polyester geogrid mesh

  1. Firstly, the subgrade slope line shall be set out accurately. In order to ensure the subgrade width, each side shall be widened. After leveling the dried base soil, the 25T vibratory roller shall be used for static pressure twice, and then the 50T vibratory roller shall be used for four times. The uneven areas shall be leveled manually.
  2. The medium (coarse) sand with a thickness of 0.3m shall be paved, and the 25T vibratory roller shall be statically pressed twice after being leveled manually and mechanically. When laying the geogrid, the bottom shall be flat and dense, generally flat, straight, without overlapping, curling and twisting. Two adjacent geogrids shall be overlapped, and the overlapping part of the geogrid shall be connected with 8 # iron wire every meter along the subgrade, and the geogrid shall be fixed to the ground with U-nails every meter.
  3. After fixing the end of the grid, use the paver or manual method to slowly pull the grid forward and straighten it manually every 10 meters until one roll of grid is paved, and then pave the next roll. The operation is the same as before. The paving surface of the geogrid shall be relatively flat. After the paving layer is accepted, in order to prevent longitudinal deflection, white lines or hanging lines shall be drawn on the paving layer according to the width, and then the paving can be started, and the end of the geogrid shall be fixed with U-nails (4 nails per meter of width, fixed at an even distance).
  4. Overlay: take the roll length as the unit of paving section length. After the section length of the grid is fully paved, check the overall paving quality, and then pave the next section. When laying the next section, the net distance between the grid and the grid shall be overlapped by one grid, and the second section shall be laid in the forward direction after being fixed with binding wire. By analogy, the operation requirements are the same as before.
  5. The construction method of the second layer of warp knitted polyester geogrid is the same as that of the first layer, and then the filling method of medium (coarse) sand is the same as that of the first layer. After static pressing twice with a 25T roller, the subgrade base reinforcement is completed. After the third layer of medium (coarse) sand is rolled, two geogrids shall be laid on both sides of the slope longitudinally along the line, overlapped, and connected in the same way. Then earthwork construction shall be started, and geogrids shall be laid for slope protection. The laying sidelines must be measured for each layer. Each side shall ensure that the geogrids are buried in the slope after the slope repair. The geogrids shall be filled with two layers of soil every time, That is, when the thickness is 0.8m, a layer of geogrid shall be laid on both sides at the same time, and so on until it is laid under the soil on the shoulder surface. After the subgrade is filled, the slope shall be repaired in time, and the dry rubble at the toe of the slope shall be protected. In addition to widening 0.3m on each side of the subgrade, 1.5% of the settlement shall be reserved.
